Prof. Jeffry Kelber Joins C-SPIN
(01/28/2015) - Jeffry Kelber, Regents Professor of Chemistry and 24-year veteran of the University of North Texas, has joined C-SPIN starting in year 3 of the project. The invitation to join C-SPIN was an outgrowth of work Kelber was already doing with Profs. Dowben and Binek at the University of Nebraska. For the next year, Kelber will primarily work with these and other C-SPIN researchers to grow chromia films on cobalt and to use atomic layer epitaxy to place ultra-thin layers of boron nitride on cobalt. Both projects are essential for fabricating nano-scale devices that will make up a spin-based computer.
